Low Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines Indicator Report
The Low Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines Indicator Report presents the landscape of drinking behaviours within Hastings and Prince Edward Counties (HPEC). In accordance with the Population Health Assessment and Surveillance protocol of the Ontario Public Health Standards, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has a requirement to monitor trends over time, emerging trends and priority populations in the area of alcohol use.
2015-2016 School Immunization Report
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health (HPEPH) enforces the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) and provides School-based immunizations. Immunization leads to improved individual and population health. It also helps to save lives and prevent serious illness. The Real Cost of Eating Well
Every year, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health surveys the price of food items from grocery stores across both counties. Using this data and a survey tool called the Nutritious Food Basket, we calculate the cost to purchase one week's worth of basic healthy groceries for different age and gender groups.
CheckFirst is a website designed to provide the public with quick and easy access to summary inspection results from inspected establishments located within Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. The results of the inspections posted on this website describe what the Public Health Inspector observed at the time of the inspection.
