2019 Bay of Quinte Bike Month | Hastings Prince Edward Public Health

2019 Bay of Quinte Bike Month

Riding a bike is a healthy, climate-friendly way to get around.  Let's make it fun & safe.

Give Space & Be Seen

Throughout the month of June, follow HPE Public Health on Facebook and Twitter to learn how cyclists and motorists can make it easier and safer to share the road.

Get Involved!

Use #ShareTheRoadHPE and tell us what you do as a motorist or cyclist to help keep the roads safe for everyone.

Join the Challenge!

The Silver Chain Challenge is a friendly competition in June to record as many kilometers as you can! Whether you are walking the dog, playing a sport, or going for a bike ride, track your kilimeters as of June 1st! Sign up today at https://www.silverchainchallenge.ca/

Brush Up on the Rules of the Road

With the development of new cycling infrastructures there are new expectations for cyclists and motorists on the roads. Check out this Quick Guide to Bicycle Infrastructure to help you learn how to share the road in these new environments.
