Public Health Prince Edward County Office 35 Bridge Street, Suite 1, Picton, Ontario

Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Quick Test Clinics for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Individuals are encouraged to contact their own health care provider for STI testing, though this may not be an option for everyone. Individuals can drop-in during STI Quick Test Clinic hours, and provide a self-collected sample (pee in a cup and/or throat swab and/or rectal swab). If you are experiencing symptoms such as burning when you pee, abnormal discharge, pelvic or testicular pain, you should seek assessment and testing from a healthcare provider who can provide prompt treatment at the time of assessment. There is no health care provider at this clinic to assess symptoms and full consultation is not available at the Quick Test Clinic. Treatment is offered after a lab result has been received by HPEPH. If you’ve been notified by a sexual partner that you’ve come into contact with a STI or are interested in testing for other STI/BBI’s, please call the Sexual Health Program to speak with a Public Health Nurse, 613-966-5500 ext 243.
