Media Release – HPEPH COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Belleville, Picton and Batawa now accepting walk-ins, as well as booked appointments

Hastings and Prince Edward Counties/January 21, 2022 –

Starting immediately, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health (HPEPH) COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Picton, Belleville and Batawa will accept walk-in appointments*, in addition to booked appointments.

Getting fully vaccinated and getting a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine, is your best protection against COVID-19 and the highly contagious Omicron variant. HPEPH is working diligently to ensure getting vaccinated is as easy as possible. If booking an appointment is not convenient for you – walk in to a clinic as soon as possible!

For individuals who prefer to have a specific appointment time, booked appointments remain available. Booking your appointment in advance will help streamline the vaccination process and help ensure that public health resources are used as efficiently as possible.  

Walk-in Clinics – 5 and over

Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre (QSWC) – 265 Cannifton Rd, Belleville
Note: Beginning Tuesday, January 25, QSWC clinics will be held in the gym.          

Clinics will be closed between 12 to 1 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.

  • Friday, Jan 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 24 from 9:30 am to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. (closed 4:30-5 pm)
  • Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 27 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (closed 4:30-5 pm)
  • Friday, Jan. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Batawa Community Centre – 81 Plant St, Batawa

Clinics will be closed from 12 to 1 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.

  • Saturday, Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Walk-in Clinics – 12 and over

Prince Edward Community Centre – 375 Main St., Picton

  • Monday, Jan 24. from 1 to 6:30 p.m. (closed 4-4:30 pm)
  • Thursday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed 1-1:30 pm)

*Clinics at Prince Edward Community Centre will accept walk-ins for all eligible individuals aged 12 and over. Children aged 5-11 must book an appointment.

Booked appointments

Appointments can be booked in Belleville, Batawa, and Picton at covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/ or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Appointments can be booked in Bancroft by contacting the Bancroft Community Family Health Team at www.bcfht.org or 613-322-1565.

Vaccine ordering for health care providers

Vaccine orders for routine immunizations and STI medications continue to be available through HPEPH by using our vaccine order forms; however, please note that our vaccine delivery/pickup procedure has changed.
