Hastings and Prince Edward Counties/Nov. 10, 2021
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, together with Quinte Health Care and Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services, is holding a COVID-19 testing clinic for residents of Central Hastings in response to an increase in the number of cases in the region.
Individuals who have been identified by HPEPH as high-risk contacts of a case of COVID-19, are concerned they may have been exposed, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, are encouraged to seek testing at the upcoming drive-through clinic:
November 11
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Madoc Township Office
15651 Highway 62, Eldorado
No pre-registration is required to attend this clinic. If you have been contacted by HPEPH as a high-risk contact, please inform the person testing you and provide the reference number you were given by HPEPH.
If you have been identified as a high-risk contact of a case of COVID-19 and are:
- Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you must isolate for 10 days from your last exposure and get tested.
- Fully vaccinated, you are not required to isolate if you DO NOT have symptoms. HOWEVER, it is highly recommended that you get tested and continue to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If you develop symptoms you will need to isolate and seek testing.
If anyone within the household of a high-risk contact develops symptoms, they must self-isolate from all other household members immediately and get tested. All unvaccinated or partially vaccinated household members must isolate until the symptomatic person receives a negative test result.
